• Health and nutrition data: food photos, meal logs, nutritional information, hydration records, and movement data that you voluntarily submit
• Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and session data for improving the service
• Device information: device type and operating system version for technical support

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the miyaku service
• To analyze food photos using AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) and return nutritional information
• To manage your subscription and process payments (via RevenueCat and Apple App Store)
• To send transactional emails such as account verification and password reset (via Amazon Web Services)
• To improve app performance and user experience

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties solely to operate the service:

• Anthropic: processes food photos to generate nutritional analysis. Data is not used to train models.
• RevenueCat: manages subscription status and purchase validation
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): provides cloud infrastructure, storage, and email delivery
• Apple App Store: handles all payment processing for subscriptions

None of these providers are authorized to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the App
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Children's Privacy

miyaku is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), AWS KMS encryption for sensitive data, and Amazon Cognito for secure authentication.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
